Meet Our Dentists and Our Team

Dr. Theodore J. Adamidis graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1987. He also received both the “Outstanding General Dentist” award and the Periodontics award. Dr. Adamidis has been an award-winning doctor for eleven straight years. He has been selected as one of Hartford Magazine’s Top Dentists 2007 – 2018.

Everyone appreciates feeling that their best interests are always the highest priority to their health care professionals. Dr Adamidis is well known for his total commitment to his patients and their dental health. Dr. Adamidis also works hard to develop and maintain meaningful, long term relationships with his patients.

Dr. Adamidis always takes time to listen to his patients so that he may better understand their dental needs and discuss how best he can help them. He’s an active member of the Newington community — and whenever possible he speaks to children in the Newington school system on the benefits of oral health.

Dr. Lycheva, who goes by ‘Dr. Kate’, was born and raised in Russia by the Caspian Sea. She received her first dental degree from Moscow Medical Academy in 2010, followed by completing a one-year residency program in general dentistry. She received great clinical experience by working in federal and private practices.

After coming to the United States, she obtained her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kate is an active member of the Hartford Dental Society, Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. She is keen on continuing education seminars.

Her passion for dentistry stems from her fear of being in the dental chair as a little girl. This has motivated her to always strive to offer a comfortable and caring environment for all of her patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, taking long walks on the beach and she especially enjoys taking her children on many adventures. She hopes to visit all fifty states, as well as the U.S. National Parks.

Dr. Dimitri is excited to be joining our practice and comes to us with a fresh set of comprehensive skills. He was accepted and graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2022. After graduating, he applied to the residency program at St. Francis Hospital where he received special training in General Dentistry, specifically extractions, root canal procedures, and dentures. Dr. Dimitri completed his residency in 2023.

Dr. Dimitri has proudly attended several Mission of Mercy dental clinics where he devoted his time to taking care of patients who were uninsured and in need of dental care. He listens to everyone’s concerns and creates a unique treatment plan to help his patients achieve the best outcome. Dr. Dimitri is kind and compassionate.
