The Deep Bleaching™ whitening method is different than some other whitening techniques. The intensive nature of the process makes it necessary to schedule two in-office whitening sessions at Newington Family Dentistry. During the first session, we will condition your teeth in preparation for the bleaching itself.
This in-office conditioning treatment will be followed up with a special at-home bleaching tray system that you will wear while you sleep. After wearing these trays for the prescribed amount of time, you will return to our office for your second in-office whitening treatment. Many of our patients with stubborn stains in and on their teeth have used this whitening method and are truly happy with the results.
The Deep Bleaching whitening system at Newington Family Dentistry is professionally supervised, unlike the systems that are available over-the-counter. The trays are custom-fitted for every patient and the ingredients of the bleach are safety tested and highly regulated.
As with most teeth whitening procedures, some patients may experience some increased sensitivity to the teeth. This usually subsides after a short time. After your teeth whitening procedure, we will give you some guidelines for keeping your sparkling smile white and bright. Most patients find they can maintain their white teeth with maintenance treatments every few months.
